About this Course

This class is for last previous 4:00 & 5:00 Jazz students and new students at the intermediate level. Emphasis will be placed on technique and proper body alignment. Complexity will be added to previous skills/steps as well as the introduction of new skills. This class incorporates a warm-up, across the floor, and combinations. Dancers should be comfortable with double pirouettes and working towards triples, various leaps, kicks, and more. The Saturday Technique class is a highly recommended supplement for any of our classes. No Class: 9/12 & 11/21 Welcome to Dance Expressions! Dance Expressions strives to create a positive, upbeat, and inspiring learning environment where students can express themselves, be creative, and fall in love with the amazing art of dance! Every class will expose students to proper dance technique, musicality and artistic expression making dance classes at our studio enjoyable and a healthy activity for the body and mind. Dance Expressions offers quality dance classes for students ages 3 - young adult, with all levels of ability. The dance year runs from September – June with three registration periods – fall, winter, and spring. All of our students will have the opportunity to perform in our annual end-of-the-year dance show in June. This is a chance for our students to get on stage and wow family and friends!
